When it comes to certain things, I end up just making dumb decisions occasionally. In particular, if it has to do with my ego or money; I’m simply prone to not certainly think things through the way I should; however, that was legitimately the case when it came to a decision I made about my heating and air conditioning equipment! I do not think about myself and others and think that I need to solve troubles anywhere they exist. Even when I am in the commercial heating and air conditioning of the office, it’s simply like I have this need to be the go to guy, then and that is just pure ego. This is something I had hoped I would sort of grow out of once I became a father and was in my late thirties, but I still have this need to want to solve any problem I find anywhere, and of course, that is simply irrational thinking but my ego can be irrational at times. When I factor in money on top of that, I can see how I made a stupid error when it came to my heat pump; then not only did I want to solve the air conditioner problem, I wanted to save us money by not calling the heating and air conditioning supplier. Both of those were certainly really stupid ideas; but first of all, I have zero training when it comes to residential heating and air conditioning. But that didn’t stop me and others when I came home to find the air conditioner not toiling in my house. I instantly started trying to solve the problem without calling the heating and air conditioning professionals. But all this did was make a disappointing situation worse and end up costing myself and others not only more money but my central heating and air conditioning warranty.
