Enhancing the air quality for my study

I like having a study in my house. A quiet place of reflection, where electronic devices are not allowed, where I can relax, read, or just chill out. Some months ago I moved up to the pacific northwest for a new and exciting opportunity. I converted a spare kitchen into my new study. It was so beautiful, with a massive picture window overlooking the ocean plus the beach. It didn’t take long for me to realize that many of my most appreciated books were beginning to develop mildew or mold! Although the temp control was excellent, I lacked the humidity control I needed, so I immediately purchased a small dehumidifier. In this area of the country the temperature is undoubtedly moderate plus pleasant for most months of the year, so my new apartment doesn’t even have an A/C unit. In my seasoned apartment I kept the A/C running most of the year, but here I can open the windows to let in a breeze when it gets stuffy. I was not aware that the A/C also circulates the air throughout the home, running it through filters plus removing excess humidity. Since there was no A/C there was no air circulation, and those moisture levels were getting too high plus damaging my books. This presented a far greater problem, because I knew over time that excess humidity would foster the growth of more mold plus mildew on the walls of the building itself. With that in mind I purchased various more dehumidifiers plus placed them strategically through my house. With the dehumidifiers in place, my apartment is far more comfortable than before.
