I’m sort of blown away by how spectacular the Winter time is up here at the cabin! And I just wish all of us had added residential HVAC earlier! This condo has been in our family for generations but until recently, it was totally rustic. There has always been a wood stove for heating that place as long as I’ve been alive. And it’s a monster of a wood stove indeed, but however, it’s not the easiest beast to get lit, and subconsciously, I guess this was the main reason that I wasn’t getting up there in the winter! I hated coming into a brick frigid condo and then having to fight for an hour or more to get the stove going, for sure, once the stove was cranking, there was more heating in that condo than anyone would ever need… But by the time I would get the stove cooking, all of us were all frigid, and yet, that’s not why all of us chose to add the ductless heat pump… We added that residential HVAC because all of us wanted some a/c comfort in the summer. And since all of us were giving the whole place a bit of a face lift, all of us called the HVAC supplier as well. They made pretty short work of installing the ductless heat pump and all of us truly enjoyed having that cooling comfort while in the summer. But I’m loving the fact that I have instant heating in the condo while in the Winter time thanks to the ductless heat pump. And that fact has led to myself and others getting up here nearly a half dozen times since the fall.
