I’m sort of blown away by how spectacular the Wintertide is up here at the lodge, then and I just wish all of us had added residential Heating, Ventilation plus A/C earlier.
- This lodge has been in our family for generations however until recently, it was totally rustic.
There has consistently been a wood stove for heating that place as long as I’ve been alive. And it’s a monster of a wood stove indeed, however, it’s not the easiest beast to get lit! Subconsciously, I suppose this was the main reason that I wasn’t getting up there in the winter, i hated coming into a brick cold lodge and then having to argument for an hour or more to get the stove going, and for sure, once the stove was cranking, there was more heating in that lodge than anyone would ever need, but by the time I would get the stove cooking, all of us were all cold, but yet, that’s not why all of us chose to add the ductless heat pump. The people I was with and I added that residential Heating, Ventilation plus A/C because all of us wanted some air conditioner comfort in the summer. And since all of us were giving the whole place a bit of a face lift, all of us called the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier as well. They made pretty short work of installing the ductless heat pump and all of us truly enjoyed having that cooling comfort during the summer. But I’m romantic the fact that I have instant heating in the lodge during the Wintertide thanks to the ductless heat pump. And that fact has led to myself and others getting up here nearly a half dozen times since the fall.
