When I sold our web development contractor I got a large sum of money & nothing to do with it. I needed to find our next large thing. I wanted to continue to expand our wealth, mind & creative energy. I did some research on where it is smart to invest. I found that real estate is really the best, you need to have more assets in order to have a higher net worth! At the end of the afternoon, that is how you stay financially in the red. You need your money to work for you in that regard; Finding rental properties wasn’t too awful for me. I also am quite handy. I can service electrical complications, Heating & Air Conditioning repairs & do some minor plumbing! When I needed something larger, I called the local handyman for assistance. When our rental properties started piling up, I had some complications. A few rentals are easy to manage on our own. I could do all the grass care, repairs & clean up on our own. All the money went right into our pocket. After a while I got too many rentals in our portfolio. It was entirely hard managing them all. I got calls constantly from people that needed something. I didn’t guess what repairs were legit & what weren’t. I eventually had to throw in the towel & hire a property management dealer. A property manager has entirely changed things for me. I abruptly have more time to look for better investments. I no longer am fixing leaky toilets however making deals. I should have hired someone years ago.
