Have you ever given a washable air filter a try? I have, and at first I wasn’t going to give it a watchful eye.
But I ultimately decided to because I wanted to go and try something different after using disposable air filters all my life in my heating and cooling system.
In my circle of people, washable air filters were all people were talking about. Three people were spreading it around as a life hack, and were saying that it was much easier to use a washable air filter than to use a disposable air filter. I thought about it and I was wondering if using a washable air filter was worth the price, or would it be cheaper to continue to buy the disposable air filters? There’s only one way to find out, and so I went down to my local heating and A/C business to compare some prices. What I found was that the washable air filters were genuinely a little bit more expensive, however this was no big deal because they could be used over and over. I decided that I would go ahead and give it a try, and so I picked one up while I was there at the heating and A/C business. When I put it in there, a few weeks later I got dirty and I realized it was time to wash it. I was kind of sad about cleaning it because I was distraught that I may damage it, but it was far easier than I expected it to be. All I had to do was take a vacuum cleaner and suck all the dirt out of it, and it was as good as new. and I put it back because it was reusable. These are great, and I want to continue using these instead of my disposable air filters.
