I don't like it when snow gets stuck on my window air conditioner

Since it’s the winter season, it’s been snowing quite a bit over the last few weeks.

  • I have a snowblower but more often than not I just grab my snow shovel and do it manually.

It gives me a little bit of exercise at the same time. However, you’ve got to be careful not to slip on the ice and fall. My uncle slipped on the ice last year and he broke his hip in the process. He’s still been trying to heal from all of the injuries. Once I get all of the snow shoveling done I usually head into the house to get cleaning done. But today I had snow to remove from my rooftop. I also needed to get rid of the snow that was covering my car from the night before. One of the areas where snow had gathered the most was on top of my window air conditioner. Some people remove their window air conditioners during the winter because of the possibility of cold drafts. I didn’t think to do that this year and have been dealing with the snow collecting on the window air conditioner. It’s a lot of weight and it also soaks into the machine from all the water. I wish there was some way to prevent snow from getting stuck on the top of my window air conditioner, or I guess I could just take the window air conditioner down and store it for the rest of the season. As long as the snow doesn’t damage the window air conditioner, I should be fine.
