This past summer was one of the best ever. I had plans to go away with some friends. The goal was to travel to South America and stay in hostels. There are many festivals and events that happen during summer that I wanted to experience. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out that way. I got word that a client needed my assistance, so I had no choice but to cancel the trip. My friends left without me and for a moment I was bummed. That’s until my client said we were going to his summer home. He needed me to do several murals in the house, and would leave me there. We traveled first class, and I got to see the most beautiful home I’d ever seen. Well, spending time there painting and enjoying life turned out to be a better vacation. One day I was working and noticed it was getting warmer and warmer in the house. The owner had shown me the thermostat and I went to check what was happening. To my surprise, the thermostat was off. I tried to turn it on but nothing worked. The next thing was to get in touch with my employer who had gone back to the city, but I couldn’t reach him. I felt warmer the more I stayed in the house trying to work until I jumped into the pool to cool off. About an hour later my employer called and advised me that an HVAC expert would be there in an hour to inspect the faulty AC.
