My daughter Jamie used to like to pretend to be a heating and cooling professional back when she was little. She had a little tool set that she would carry around with her and she would pretend to go around and fix the heating vents in the house. It was always the cutest thing to see. She would also pretend to be a server in a restaurant, but I always liked it more when she was pretending to be an HVAC technician. Now, Jamie is almost 23 years old and she is all grown up. We are excited to see how she has grown up. A couple of years ago, she decided that she did not want to go the traditional route and go to college, though. She decided to go to the local technical school so that she could get her HVAC certification. Whenever she finished up with her HVAC certification and she got a job here in town with one of our local heating and cooling companies, I could not have been more proud of her! Of course, these days whenever I see her in her HVAC company uniform, I can’t help but think of her as a little girl back when she was pretending to fix the heating vents in our house. I guess things have come full circle now, and it’s really fun to go back and look at photos of that time. I remember all of it but her pretending to be an HVAC technician will always be one of my all time favorite memories.
