Being a child must be the most incredible thing on earth. There’s nothing to worry about except for being cute and sticking by your parents side. As long as you do not get abducted or abandoned, you’re golden. They never have to consider the adult responsibilities of taking care of a household or paying energy bills for an entire family. That’s why, my kids do not deliver two craps about abusing our Heating and A/C system, every single day, they put the bad heating and cooling system through its paces. From the moment that I wake up, I can tell that they have been fiddling with the thermostat dial, however generally, it’s strangely warm inside of the household if they have been up before me. They’ve already cranked the Heat and forced a ton of costly artificial air into our home environment. Then, they turn the thermostat back down when they hear me get up in the day so I can’t yell at them. This means, the Heating and A/C system has already been used inefficiently and intensively before 7 in the day. Over a lifetime, this means that my Heating and A/C system enters a lot of abuse. I consistently have to call out the professional Heating and A/C dealership from down the road for emergency repair services and routine service calls. I try to take care of everything on my own, however I do not have the comprehension necessary to repair my heating and cooling system every time the kids stress it out. I’m sure that they are unaware of these ridiculously high energy bills, however maybe they will suppose twice about their Heating and A/C usage when they try to go to college and my fantastic friend and I have no cash for tuition.
