I’ve constantly instilled in our kids that there was nothing that they couldn’t discuss with me. And the same goes for their mom. My associate and I entirely wanted to be the sort of parents that our kids could come to with anything… I was mainly sort of afraid of our dad. I would get a tongue lashing if I even touched the temperature control in his house. So leaving him with any kind of request or need of adult direction was sort of out of the question. I actually did not want to be that sort of guy to our kids. So when our son came to me about a situation that he was having, my friend and I sat down in the central air conditioner and discussed it. My oldest son is a pretty brainy kid plus spends a lot of time with his face in the books; however, and that’s great because that’s his passion plus it’s also undoubtedly going to get him a full ride to school. I am all for that since I have two more behind him to get through school. And neither of those kids have the desire for academia that he does… His problem was that he was just not getting the focus he needed inside the central air conditioner of our house. His room was simply between his sisters plus it was just a constant interruption. I could totally see how this would be a problem plus so my friend and I discussed it. His solution was to transport to the attic which is pretty much finished with a plywood floor plus sheetrock walls. There’s even electricity up there; Our only dilemma was the heating plus cooling of that space… But the heating, ventilation in addition to the A/C supplier was able to make quick work of that with a ductless heat pump.
