We had a fairly mild winter season this year, however my nice friend and I had a few afternoons when it got colder. Unluckily, most of the afternoons were in the early Spring. My fiance thinks the boiler should be turned off at the beginning of April. April brought us snow and freezing rain. I came home from labor one afternoon, and my fiance had the oven on. I thought he was starting brunch, however it wasn’t brunch that caught my attention. He was sitting in front of the oven with the door open. He told me it was a convenient space heater. I told him it was a costly space heater, and turned it off. I walked over and turned up the temperature control until I heard the boiler running. He also walked over and turned it back off. He told me my nice friend and I were wasting oil, and oil was costly. I told him my nice friend and I were wasting gas when he was warming his feet with the stove, then gas was costly. When he started complaining he was cold, I told him to turn up the temperature control. The boiler was made to keep it moderate in the house. There were complaints that it was April, and it was Spring. My pal and I shouldn’t need the heater. I reminded him when he turned on the air conditioning in January, because it was humid in the house. It has just gotten moderate enough to consider the air conditioning, however that is only because it is humid.
