I work in one of the single greatest convention centers in Vegas.
My pal and I are wedged in between a massive hotel and a prestigious casino, and my friend and I stay booked solid all through the year.
As you might have guessed, our speciality is hosting major conventions and industry trade shows. I am in total charge of logistics, which means I set up a show without needing to think much about what the industry is. My pal and I host conventions for doctors, accountants, taxi drivers, sculptors, deep sea divers, copier salespeople, and heating and air conditioning techs. My pal and I have blocks of conference halls and showrooms, so no matter what your business is, my friend and I can showcase it. Last weekend my friend and I hosted a major event for heating and air conditioning sales reps from across the country. These weren’t the heating and cooling professionals that work on the equipment, just the salespeople who sell them. It was a rather demanding weekend, because there was a weird conference or lecture about the newest models of heating and cooling components numerous times a day. They had numerous thoUSAnd people here at one time or another, all of them wanting to learn more about the newest developments in a/c and furnaces. At night the residential heating and air conditioning sales reps got crazy, and my friend and I had to call the cops numerous times when their room parties got out of hand. The convention center did everything it could to accommodate these people, but I hope the giant heating and air conditioning sales conference is held in another town next year. With all the numerous industries that have held conventions here, the heating and air conditioning workers are entirely the craziest.
