Abby has been telling jokes since she was in middle school.
She would watch comedians with her dad, and began doing small stand ups for her friends.
While other teachers saw her as the class clown, there was one who was quite encouraging. She advised Abby to continue perfecting her craft, and one day she’d be a big name. Plus, she introduced Abby to some top female acts who are big in the industry. Well, Abby continued doing jokes even in college. She even won several awards and prizes. After graduating, she moved to a bigger city and began frequenting big comedy spots until she got her big break. Abby was finally going to do a show, and earned her first $50000 for it. Her mom and dad were attending and so proud of her progress. Abby loved the venue, but had an issue with her dressing room. The space was freezing because there was no heating. Her crew, which consisted of two cousins who did her hair and make-up, and also management got in touch with the right people. They were astonished that the dressing room didn’t have heating and jumped into action. They got an HVAC expert to come in and see why heat wasn’t reaching this part of the building. It turns out the vent was clogged and needed cleaning to function properly. Abby and her crew had to move to a different dressing room with heating to allow the HVAC expert to work. This room was bigger and she loved it. Even if they got the heating to work in the previous dressing room, she wasn’t moving again.
