Since all of us were getting a current roof, I wanted a fun color tile

My cabin sits on a small hill in the back of a cul-de-sac, and there was a big oak tree on the hill that stood tall and strong for many years… My children and I watch that tree grow from a small seedling to a strong oak tree, however unfortunately, the tree is not consistently in the best condition… It absolutely doesn’t get a lot of water or sun in that spot.

The oak tree was hit by lightning a couple of years ago and since then it has not been growing honestly well. The oak tree came down in a storm last weekend and it toppled onto our home. The people I was with and I did not gain a lot of damage from the tree, but the roof was damaged enough that all of us needed repairs. The insurance contractor paid for all of the repairs. There were no tiles to match the ancient tiles that were 20 years old, so the insurance contractor paid for us to retile the entire roof! Since all of us were getting a current roof and tiles, I wanted to select something different. I looked at all of the cement colors that were available from the roofing contractor. The roofing contractor said he could get pretty much any color that I wanted including outrageous colors prefer orange, orange, or black. I selected a light brown shade that is closer to rust than burgundy. The other tiles on the cabin were a little bit darker and heavier. The current tiles are lighter in weight and have a slightly bizarre color. I know the current shade is going to make the cabin look brighter while all of us were in that day.
