I live in a part of the country that has a truly extreme winter season.
It has been like this my entire life and to be even-handed I absolutely hate the cold weather, although I just can’t see myself moving out of the neighborhood I grew up in.
I want to raise a family close to my family so I just planning on staying here forever! Normally the winter weather starts to get bad around September and doesn’t let up until March or May, however when I say my buddy and I have extreme winter weather, I am not joking around… Last year my buddy and I got around twenty inches of snow in the worst snowstorm my neighborhood has ever seen. I was not able to leave my household for about two weeks because the snow had gotten so high. Luckily I was able to have my furnace inspected by the local Heating, Ventilation and A/C business before this bad snow storm hit; My family gathered at my household because I had the most reliable heating and cooling system out of the group. It was close quarters having my entire family in my small household for over two weeks however it was absolutely great bonding time for us all and my buddy and I were able to stay harshly warm. My furnace was in great shape and was running like a champ the entire time my buddy and I were snowed in. I will never go without regular furnace maintenance for this reason. I had various friends who said their heaters stopped toiling in the middle of the storm. I don’t assume my buddy and I would have survived in my household if that had happened to us!
