I will never turn down a free A/C tune-up, but my main complication was this drunk idiot driving all over town
I consider myself a tolerant person, but I have my limits. When my A/C service tech came over to make a service call, I could clearly sense the intense odor of booze on him. It didn’t seem like he had a corona or 2 at dinner, but that he had spent all night soaking in a bathtub full of tequila. It made my eyeballs water just catching the odor of him. I told the guy that I was canceling the appointment, then my associate and I called the business. Normally I am not such a tattletale, but here was an alleged Heating plus Air Conditioning professional who was driving around my neighborhood while stone cold drunk! I called the Heating plus Air Conditioning dealer, a man named Tim who I have done company with for various years. I explained what had happened, plus that a single 1 of his Heating plus Air Conditioning techs was drunk driving plus showing up to residences in such a state. Tim was sympathetic, plus apologized profusely. It turns out I wasn’t the first Heating plus Air Conditioning purchaser who had called Jim that morning, all complaining about the same tech. Tim was undoubtedly kind, plus said he would come over to my apartment the following morning plus handle all the Heating plus Air Conditioning work for free, as a way of saying he was sorry for this incident. I will never turn down a free A/C tune-up, but my main complication was this drunk idiot driving all over town. If this guy is drunk on the task plus crashes the van or hurts somebody, it would put Tim’s small Heating plus Air Conditioning supply company out for good.
