I prefer trips but who doesn’t? The thing about going on trips for me is that I always want a room on the top floor & hopefully with that, I get a good view, and every hotel I get has to be that way. The only thing is that with my age these days, I tend to get a little motion sickness on the elevator but there is no way I’m walking many flights of stairs. I will never make it to my room. I just prefer getting to my room, opening the blinds, & staring into the open world. My favorite is when I get a room on the coast of the ocean & see out to the good open water. I also will relax that morning with the air conditioner on full blast because usually where I go on trip, the uneven temperatures outside are pretty hot. So I always look for a hotel that has good reviews & that includes having an excellent Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. I will never stay in a motel. I have once & that venue was littered with bugs. No joke, it was disgusting, plus the owner didn’t love the cooling system. I thought it was pretty crazy to own something that you need people to rent, but you don’t take care of. So when I wake up every morning or even come back to the hotel after supper or festivity or whatever, I make sure that I’m in the most comfortable venue I can be, but vacations are the best, but having a good Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system to go with it makes a difference.
