When my fiance called the heating and air conditioning company, he told them it was an emergency.
He didn’t want to take the entire day off of work, just sitting around waiting for the heating and air conditioning serviceman to arrive.
He called his office and told them he had an emergency at home, and he would not be in. He had personal afternoons he could use anytime, as long as he called and left a message by a particular time in the morning. He was simply taking a personal day. An hour after calling the heating and air conditioning company, the heating and air conditioning serviceman was there. My fiance really wanted to know how he got there so quickly? The heating and air conditioning tech said it was a slow day, and when the call came in, he was just coming on duty. He got into his uniform and headed right over. He and my fiance talked about what was wrong with the air conditioning unit, and the heating and air conditioning tech asked questions. He wanted to know how old the air conditioning was so he could see if it was still under warranty. He also wanted to know if my nice friend and I changed the air filters constantly, and when was the last time it was last service. My fiance was simply scratching his head, unsure when the AC unit had been taken care of. He knew it hadn’t been this year, but he could not remember if it was last year. He didn’t even know when the air filter was changed. I was heading to work, although I knew. I told him I changed the air filter a week ago, and it had been taken care of by the seventh week of May.
