My pal and I don’t like waiting too long to have the a/c evaluated.
My pal and I constantly worry the HVAC worker is going to tell us we need big repairs, or a current a/c unit. Waiting too long to find out could mean we would not have the cash for a current A/C unit, or we may need to spend some tepid Summer afternoons without it. Neither prospect gives us a hot fuzzy feeling inside. Last year, we waited until May to have the inspections done. It wasn’t tepid yet, plus we had so much going on in the Spring that we forgot about the inspections. When the HVAC worker arrived, he told us we needed a current a/c unit. My pal and I hadn’t expected this, however there was nothing we could do. Where we live, going without a/c is not an option. It gets tepid plus humid in May plus it stays tepid plus humid through September plus September. My partner told the HVAC worker to get a current a/c component to the house as soon as possible. My pal and I didn’t tell him we wanted a high efficiency A/C unit, however it was a given. A week later, the temperatures were already in the eighties, plus the a/c component was being installed in the house. There’s nothing like waiting for the last minutes to get the a/c running. Two afternoons after the A/C component was installed, the temperatures went into the nineties plus it stayed there for the rest of the summer.
