My husband and I have been together for 2 years and I know we are getting to the end of our relationship. My husband used to be helpful and thoughtful, but lately all he does is lay around the place and play video games and smoke pot. I have no problem with my husband smoking recreational marijuana or playing video games, but there has not been any hot water in the dwelling for weeks and he doesn’t seem to know it’s a big deal. I have to go to work 5 days a week and each afternoon I have to take a cold shower. We are washing dishes in the sink without hot water too. I asked my husband if he would call the superintendent to fix the hot water and he told me that he would do that on Monday afternoon. That was 2 weeks ago. I try to remind my husband every couple of days, although I don’t want him to know that I am nagging him or acting like his mom. He tells me that a lot. This afternoon I had to take another cold shower and it’s starting to get cold outside. I was cold in the bathroom even with the space furnace running. I finally had enough and I marched out into the living room and I yelled at my husband for 10 minutes. When I came home later that afternoon, the superintendent was working on the hot water heater. I am still upset with my husband but at least he got up and did something about the problem.
