We all have been missing our partners a great deal.
They have been gone for the last 8 days because of all of the storms that are on the west coast.
The storms have brought excess rain, and snow in the higher elevations. Our partners are electrical repair contractors. Most of the time they work on the lines that run from the street to the houses and businesses. When there are repairs that need to be made in emergency situations, our partners are the ones at the electrical repair corporations that are typically called. They were gone half of the Summer a single year because of hurricanes in the southeast. This is the longest that they have been gone in a long time, especially during the Winter weeks. The West Coast does not normally get this amount of rain. They have had a soaking amount of water, but dams, rivers, and reservoirs are all at their peak amount and spilling over. We are lucky that we have not lost any electricity at all during the storm. We had some days when we thought things were going to be bad, but we were thrilled to see that we did not lose any power. The worst time for us to lose electricity in our apartment is when they aren’t there. Our partners are the ones who take care of all of the electrical repairs in our houses. If they are gone, we have to contact a respected repair electrician and representative that isn’t familiar with our homes.
