I knew what I wanted, however I didn’t guess we were going to purchase it
Last month, my partner plus I thought it would be a good idea to prepare for the Summer heat. My pal and I knew we were going to need a current a/c unit, plus we wanted to find one that was highly efficient. My pal and I had study all about SEER plus knew the numbers represented how energy efficient an a/c component was. Two years ago, the highest energy efficiency rating we could afford was a SEER of 17. This year, we wanted to see if we could afford an A/C component with an efficiency rating of over 20. The naïve part of me was thinking a/c units may have dropped in price, however I was mistaken… Just like everything else, the price went up. My pal and I were going to pay almost $1000 more for the a/c unit, than we would have if we bought it last year. My partner warned me, however I didn’t want to hear it. Once the HVAC worker showed up, he pulled out pamphlets that gave us an idea on the price of a current a/c unit. I knew what I wanted, however I didn’t guess we were going to purchase it. I asked the HVAC worker if our outdated A/C component would last another year? He said it would honestly last two or three years, however the prices honestly would not go down. They may stabilize, however that isn’t a given. My partner asked me what I thought? I told him that since the prices have been steadily getting higher, we may as well get the high efficiency a/c now, before the prices were much higher, plus he agreed.
