My pal and I have had nothing however window a/cs for many years! If the a/c is running, it is mostly at night. My partner has a taxing breathing when he is kneeling down. The a/c helps him to relax plus breathe better. The rest of the time, we may have the a/c on in the living room, plus it cools our entire house. That is quite a feat when you realize we have four living rooms in the house, plus as long as the doors are open, everyone is comfortable. Last year, our window a/c component broke. My pal and I didn’t have the cash to buy a current one, plus we chose to go for almost a month without the a/c unit, but since my partner plus I worked outside most of the morning, by the time we got home, it was cooler in the house than what it was outside. My pal and I kept our window curtains shut, which blocked the solar heating of the sun. My pal and I found we could live comfortably until it came time for bed, but our smaller window a/c kept us quite cool. Our child complained it was too tepid in the house for us plus we had to have a/c, however we didn’t guess so. I asked her who said we had to have a/c? She backed off plus said we had to live there, plus not her.
