You never know what you’re going to get when you are interacting with the general public, then periodically people actually surprise me with how pleasant plus kind they can be. Other times, I am genuinely blown away by how awful, rude, plus dismissive humans can be; Unfortunately, in my line of work I interact with a lot of humans. This means that I have a pretty even mix of wonderful plus poor experiences with the citizens of my city. When I went into the heating, cooling, plus ventilation industry I never actually anticipated how much human contact I would have. I learned all about servicing indoor air handling devices at my local trade school plus I consider myself a pro at troubleshooting air conditionings plus furnaces. However, I am not so wonderful at troubleshooting miserable customers when they get uppity about their central heating plus cooling systems. Recently, this was the case when I was called out to a local house for a routine air conditioning maintenance appointment. I battled traffic the entire way there plus I was sweltering sizzling by the time I arrived. When I arrived in the driveway I saw somebody staring at me from the window plus hastily ran up to the front door to get a jump on in the heating plus cooling repair. When I knocked on the door, the resident refused to open his house. I could not get inside to complete the central heating plus cooling inspection or to repair his supposedly broken air conditioning. As I drove away I received a call from my Heating, Ventilation and A/C dealership… The owner of the house called plus insisted that I was a stranger trying to cut in… She was wrongly convinced that he had called a different Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor.
