My parents bought me a used car for my sixteenth birthday and I have been driving it ever since.
The car my parents bought me isn’t the nice car on the market, but I take pride in it. I make sure that I have regular oil changes, always have the tires rotated and try to do monthly maintenance just to ensure that everything is working properly. I haven’t had any major issues with my car until this year either. However, this year has been a really tough one on my old car. Last week, the entire HVAC system in my car stopped working. The air conditioner and the heater went out in the same week. I knew this was going to be expensive to fix. However, I wanted to have an HVAC mechanic look at it before I decided if I should have the work done or just get a new car all together. I know that getting a new car would be more expensive, but having the entire HVAC system replaced was also very expensive. Once the HVAC mechanic gave me the quote on getting the HVAC system in my car replace I knew that getting a new car would be the best option. I didn’t want to put all this money into a new HVAC system and then have the car break down for another reason. So, now I am on the lookout for a brand new car with a working HVAC system!
