My father basically decided to buy a dwelling in the middle of nowhere after he split from my mother.
The location is relatively remote with no one living around us and there are absolutely few things to do.
The land around the dwelling basically is barren and my pal and I can’t get cable. The internet strength is not very strong and in order to use the phone, you have to go upstairs and open a window… How bizarre is that? My father definitely struggles with a reception on the television. He was able to find these outdated metal things which he calls, “rabbit ears.” I just wish my pal and I got satellite for tv. My associate and I don’t leave the dwelling especially much besides school days and weekends to go into town. The loneliness I suffer from can be bad at times. I just wish I had someone besides my actual father to talk to. There are no neighbors and if I really had the wish to go to town, it’s a half hour drive. I do choose to head around the area since I know I won’t run into people. I was able to discover a nearby creek that I hiked to. I saw some critters such as rabbits and deer but I hope I never run into a bear or a mountain lion! The dwelling is pretty nice however it needs some good upgrades. My father called the HVAC company to have an HVAC appliance worker come out and replace the heating and cooling appliance… At least I know when I’m at the dwelling, I’ll be in comfort. Living in the middle of nowhere has pretty much forced me to become creative with my ideas and pastimes. I started to paint and helped with the gardening a bit. I honestly hope life will become better here but I have to make the best of it.
