Customer locks me out of their house, tools are inside

You never know what you’re going to get when it comes to other human beings.

Even when you’ve known somebody for 50 years they can turn on a dime.

Unfortunately, I know this all too well from interacting with my family. One afternoon everyone is pleasant plus superb to be around. It feels like we are a real family equipment plus we have each other’s backs. A week later everyone is fighting like cats plus dogs. I might not hear from them for another year after some tiny squabble that never needed to happen. To make my life more complicated, I interact with a lot of humans on a regular basis for my task. This means I have a lot of occasions to be blindsided by strange human behavior. As a certified heating, cooling, plus ventilation specialist working in a demanding climate I never know what kind of customer I am going to get when I answer their Heating, Ventilation and A/C maintenance calls. Dispatch sends me out to routine maintenance appointments for central heating plus cooling systems and emergency Heating, Ventilation and A/C maintenance tasks. Periodically the Heating, Ventilation and A/C buyers are extremely kind plus hospitable. Other times, the owners of ailing heating, cooling, plus ventilation devices are absolute monsters. It’s most baffling when my residential Heating, Ventilation and A/C buyers are both personality types in one appointment. This is what happened last week when a genuinely nice man kindly paid me for his air conditioning maintenance plus then refused to let me get my tools back. I had left my Heating, Ventilation and A/C maintenance tools in his basement plus advocated a quick trip to retrieve my necessary items. The man literally shut plus locked his front door in my face moments after telling me I was the best Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech he ever had. Sigh, people.
