My husband, Dan, should never be told that he’s a great heating and cooling specialist. He gets so stuck on himself that he’s impossible to live with a lot of the time. I make fun of him and tell him he’s so full of himself that his head won’t fit in the doorframe! Whenever he gets something in his head, he’s annoying, like the fact that he is the world’s greatest heating and cooling specialist. He certainly is a great heating and cooling specialist, however he’s pretty conceited about the fact and that means that he’s annoying. I like my husband. He certainly is one of the best in his trade around here. He’s been working at the same heating and cooling company for the past several years now, and most people are constantly telling him that he is one of the greatest heating and cooling specialists they have ever had. Constant are the compliments from his customers, whether they are residential or commercial customers, but not only that, he usually wins the award for top sales and for best heating and cooling specialist at his dealer. I guess that all of this positive reinforcement is great for him, but it also goes to his head occasionally, too. He’s simply annoying, when it comes right down to it. I constantly tell people that they should not ever tell Dan that he’s great at his job. He already knows it, and talking to him about it can only make the way that he acts even worse.
