Have you ever used Airbnb to secure a rental apartment for one of your trips? I am sure you have, almost everyone seems to be using this platform.
- I think that it’s a really awesome tool plus it makes a lot of sense for people to crowdsource their empty homes in order to make some extra money… People who need a place to stay have a real house for a limited amount of time plus a homeowner’s capitalize off of their empty cabin at the same time.
It seems like a really good idea to me. The only thing is, there is so many different apartment possibilities plus assorted amenities that it can make your head spin. Occasionally, you forget what you have even looked at or you can miss important details about a home; Recently, this is what happened to us when my associate and I were looking for a cool cottage rental. We actually found a cool cottage, but my associate and I did not intend to freeze our asses off. When my associate and I found this awesome cottage my associate and I instantly booked the property. When my associate and I arrived there, my associate and I were shocked to find that the tree cabin was lacking some modern amenities such as central heating plus cooling. I know that makes sense that there wasn’t a central forced air boiler or sizable air conditioning unit for this tiny property, but they could have at least installed a mini split ductless heating plus cooling system or provided a space heater. When my associate and I set are things down plus realize there was no temperature control it was a rude surprise. Sure enough, when my associate and I check to the listing my associate and I saw that there was no indoor heating. This lack of indoor heat did not ruin the entire trip, but my associate and I spent the rest of the evening wrapped up in a blanket together, wishing that my associate and I read closer.
