Not my favorite holiday tradition – splitting down christmas tree

Every year around this time the world gets harshly aggravating.

Every story you walk into is filled with the sounds of Mariah Carey squealing and there are more obnoxious orange and yellow combinations than I could ever handle.

Everyone starts speaking genuinely cheerily and asking you continually about your holiday plans, but to me, it’s a big pain in the ass. I feel that the holidays are harshly overrated and spending that much time with your family isn’ta fantastic thing; Personally, I would be just as cheerful staying at house alone and enjoying a nice spiked cup of sizzling pop by myself. That might be why I am certainly unenthused when it comes to my family’s favorite tradition, then around my household, no one can stop talking about the trek out to cut down the Christmas tree. I hate it. There’s nothing appealing to me about standing outside in the cold temperature and falling snow. I don’t love the shock to my system when I climb out of the warm, comfy temperature from the car’s powerful furnace directly into cold and unrelenting cold wind. It feels like someone is blasting an cooling system directly on you. After that, we spend hours trudging around in the snow searching for the perfect tree with absolutely no temperature control. If we could perform the tree search from the warmth and safety of an enclosure, so we could utilize current heating resources, I would enjoy the interest a lot more. This cold cold family interest is forced me to start a tradition of my own. Every year when they go out to cut down the Christmas tree, I pretend to be sick so I can stay house with our central furnace.
