It’s a undoubtedly rare event that I treat myself to anything nice, and rather than spending money on myself, I tend to take care of everyone and everything else first.
At the end of the day, there is generally nothing left for me.
It’s not such a bad life, but my family seems to take pity on me at times. They try to shower me with massages and spa nights when I have had a certainly tied up couple of months. I absolutely appreciate the gesture that they are making, but to be honest, I dislike going on these spa nights. If you ask me, new salons and spas need to have their Heating and Air Conditioning settings adjusted. I’m not sure if I just have unusual temperature control preferences compared to the rest of the population or what, but I am regularly freezing chilly when I enter these fancy spas. From the moment that I walk in the door, it feels like I’m in an Arctic blizzard. There is freezing chilly air blowing from every direction, so you can’t even get away from the drafts when you need a break, however by the time you check in and disrobe, it feels like winter. I’m entirely covered in Goosebumps and shivering in my thin robe. From that point on, it’s pretty difficult for me to relax or prefer the day; Nothing about Ice Cold Air Conditioning puts me into a fine mood. I dislike having chilly hands rubbing my back, or freezing chilly masks applied to my face. These spa nights entirely do nothing except to stress me out more than ever. I have a darn difficult time great when my whole body is tensed up against chilly air.
