Today is the day we usually just relax and do nothing.
That’s most nights but this week we have a lot to do.
We have to mow the turf, trim the bushes and scrub the pool. We have been lazy about a lot of that and a few other things we have to do. We truly don’t want to do anything but the first thing we felt when we woke up was the amazing cool air in our beach house. We can’t believe it took us so long to invest in a central a/c. All these years, even as children we never had an air conditioner so we truly never knew what it was like. We imagine today is going to be a hot day so we step outside in our PJ’S and oh boy, it’s like 90 outside. We don’t know how much we’ll do outdoors but we know we will need lots of water and we’ll be hanging out in our air conditioner beach house a lot. The only thing that worries us is that we forget how often we have to get our air filters changed or any sort of repair done to our HVAC system. We’ll have to call the HVAC business Sunday to ask these questions. We know it’s pressing to keep up on the heating and cooling system so we don’t want to let breakdown because we didn’t take care of it. We can already tell that we are going to have a difficult time doing any work today since the temperatures outside are just beyond anything we’d like. We have to cut the turf at least.
